Understanding the Chumpi Stones

Sale Price:$250.00 Original Price:$300.00

Join us for a sacred online teaching series guided by Andean paqo teachers Victor Chura Quispe and Celia Samata Apaza, as we journey into the wisdom of the chumpi stones. These ceremonial stones are revered within the Andean tradition as protectors and anchors, carrying the living intelligence of the mountains, the stars, and the ancestral lineage of the Andes.

In this four part series, we will explore the cosmology that gives rise to the chumpi stones, their relationship with the Apus, and their role in protection, balance, and spiritual alignment. These teachings are shared through story, lineage wisdom, and prayer, and are held with deep respect for the living tradition from which they come. Our time together will conclude with a closing ceremony to honor and integrate the teachings.

Weekly Sessions:

Week #1: Wednesday, January 28th; 6:00 pm EST

Remembering the World the Chumpis Come From: Our first gathering opens the doorway into the Andean cosmology that gives rise to the chumpi stones. Victor and Celia will share how the Andes are understood as a living, conscious landscape and how the chumpis emerge from this worldview as sacred allies rather than tools. This session is about orientation and remembering, offering a grounded understanding of the spiritual universe in which the chumpi stones belong.

Week #2: Wednesday, February 11th; 6:00 pm EST

Meeting the Chumpi Stones as Living Allies: With this foundation in place, we turn toward the chumpi stones themselves. Victor and Celia will speak about the relationship between the chumpis and the Apus, and how each stone carries the presence and medicine of specific mountains. This session invites a deeper appreciation of the chumpis as vessels of ancestral memory and mountain wisdom, and how they are honored within the mesa and ceremonial lineage.

Week #3: Wednesday, February 18th; 6:00 pm EST

The Chumpi Stones and the Work of Protection and Balance: In our third gathering, the focus shifts to the role of the chumpi stones in maintaining energetic stability and protection. Victor and Celia will share how the chumpis are traditionally understood as energetic belts that support alignment, clearing, and containment. This session offers insight into why chumpis are used during times of transition, initiation, and spiritual growth, and how their medicine supports balance within the human field.

Week #4: Wednesday, February 25th; 6:00 pm EST

Closing Ceremony and Carrying the Teachings Forward

They hold the memory of the mountains and the wisdom of the stars, offering support during times of growth, change, and spiritual initiation.
